Strategic objectives
- To consolidate the research group once the junior members apply for more stable positions at the university and/or hospital, establishing our group as a benchmark in pharmacoepidemiological research and fostering collaboration with groups in our clinical-academic setting and other fields.
- To consolidate PIELenRed in the Community of Madrid as an interdisciplinary research platform and extend collaboration to other hospitals across the country, while maintaining its integration into the RegiSCAR International Consortium.
- To expand access to information sources other than BIFAP.
Research lines
- Atherothrombotic events, medication use, and environmental factors.
- Severe cutaneous drug reactions (type IV hypersensitivity reactions). Clinical-epidemiological study and search for susceptibility markers.
- Pharmacoepidemiological evaluation of chemoprotectants in digestive cancer.
