Governing Board

The Governing Board is the governing body responsible for the representation, management and administration of the IRYCIS.

Functions

Appointing and dismissing the Director of the IRYCIS.
Appointing and dismissing the members of the IRYCIS CCE.
Appointing and dismissing the members of the Research Commission.
To set up, appoint and dismiss its members and to extinguish any specific commissions and working groups required by the Institute to advise on or deal with complex issues.
To supervise, inspect, monitor and guide the work of the IRYCIS.
To establish the general guidelines and strategic planning of the Institute.
To approve the IRYCIS' Strategic Plan and operational programmes, projects and results.
To approve the IRYCIS Quality Plan.
To annually approve the budget, the appropriate reports, the inventory, as well as the economic balance sheet and the annual accounts of the IRYCIS.
To approve the internal regulations of the IRYCIS.
To approve the proposal of the requirements and conditions for the incorporation of new researchers and research groups and to agree on the entry of new members to the IRYCIS.
To approve the proposal on the distribution of the resources obtained as IRYCIS.
To define accreditation policies and the use of shared technological platforms on the basis of the corresponding integration agreements.
Establish training and knowledge sharing policies within the IRYCIS.
To delegate its powers to one or more members of the Governing Board, or to the Director of the IRYCIS, without being able to delegate the approval of accounts and the budget.
To change the location of the IRYCIS.
