- Large animals area: 3 independent and versatile rooms.
- Rodent area: quarantine rooms and external animals, 2 rooms for mice, 2 rooms for rats, room with racks self-ventilated for SPF animals, etc.
- Two experimental operating rooms for large animals.
- Pre-operative to perform preanesthesia and preparation of animals.
- Operating room for rodents with 5 surgical microscopes.
- 2 autoclave devices.
- Interventional radiology operating room with digital fluoroscope.

- Authorisation for the handling of genetically modified organisms
- Quality system and AENOR standards already implanted.
In addition, the UCA has a suggestion box located at the door of its facilities to allow the reception of all suggestions, ideas, complaints and/or acknowledgements related to the work of the unit.
