    Selection of aptamer populations against a target

    Aptamers are selected against a target using the appropriate SELEX methodology and up to 12 rounds of selection are performed. The affinity for the target of each of the populations obtained after the successive rounds of selection are measured and the population enriched in aptamers that recognize the target are supplied.


    Cloning and characterization of individual aptamers

    The population enriched in aptamers are cloned against the target and up to 20 clones are sequenced. The secondary structure of the identified aptamers are analyzed and up to 4 representative aptamers are synthesized. The affinity and specificity of these chemically synthesized aptamers is studied and the sequence of aptamers showing the greatest affinity for the target are delivered
