STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
- To advance our understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms involved in various multisystemic diseases.
- To identify biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets, as well as to develop clinically useful prognostic models for complex acute or chronic conditions.
- To develop, apply, and evaluate new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies or tools, as well as new prevention and treatment strategies, in patients with complex conditions.
- To foster synergies among research lines and collaboration with other groups, researchers, and IRYCIS units.
- Integration and participation in cooperative networks, working groups, and multicenter registries, both national and international.
- Strengthening and expanding partnerships and collaborations with the business sector in clinical research.
- Generating new lines of research that complement current ones and align with IRYCIS's strategic objectives and national and European plans.
